Farewell old friend :c

This morning, while attempting to work on a commission, I discovered that my tablet, my faithful drawing companion for the past 6-7 years had died.  I tried what I could to save my tablet, but sadly it was no use.

Since I do have work to do that requires a tablet, I borrowed money to order a used tablet off of ebay, but that still set me back £150.  So to try and pay that back I really need to take on comissions as well as trying to pick up a few small freelance programming jobs.

If you are interested in a commission or you know someone who may want one, please let me know or pass it along.

Yikes, I'm looking at that happening soon. There's spots on my tablet that don't always respond. This is what I hope to have enough for by the time it dies. *LINK*

Oh, I wish, lol.  I have been eyeing a cintiq hd for a while now, but I don't have a job at the moment, so even being able to get the replacement I did was lucky.

I had an intuos4 large and the surface looks pretty worn down but it worked fine.  The problem is the usb connectors got knocked free from the board inside, one by wear (I move my tablet around a lot so lots of plugging/unplugging) and the other because my partner dropped it.

Well dang, if I was anywhere in your area I could probably fix something that simple. Electronic connections are an easy fix for those that know how to solder fine connections. I had to fix a friend's noise canceling(overpriced and uselessly golden connectored) headphones a little while back. Charged him a buck for the time and solder. Much better than the $130ish he would have paid for a new pair. XD

I thought about trying to get someone to solder them, but the connectors need to be replaced as they both have pins broken out of them, and I'm not sure where to go for that stuff since I am staying with my partner in england at the moment :P  and a buck vs. 130 is  a heck of a deal, you coulda charged $100 :O
