So I got myself a DVD home cinema thing today. Also I already had a Soundbar, so I was casually thinking I could put them together like it was nothing. Alas I was wrong because apparently its the new norm to only include input ports on systems, and no output, so now I got 2 perfectly healthy systems with no chance of combining them since neither have a single output port. Yay me.

Also I havent been drawing much, I can only say two things to that. World of Tanks and Dead Island. -.-

Not familiar with the term Soundbar.
For input ports, the most common component is a good receiver.  Home-Theatre-in-a-Box systems aren't as good for this, but even some HTB packages do have decent receivers with input and output auxiliaries.  DVD players, unless they are also recorders, never have inputs.

And World of Tanks?  Naw, dude.  Tropico 4.  THAT's a way to fall off the grid for months at a time.

Well, I haven't been posting much because dozens of things kept going wrong for seemingly the sole purpose of ruining progress on everything, so count yourself luckier.

If you can send email me pics of the backs of the units, I could probably figure out a way to combine them for you, and draw up a wiring schematic for you. Email is on my profile page!

Ah, for the audio utopia that was The Eighties!  It used to be that everything sold had in/out/through ports, but sometime in the oversimplification and genericization of America, and thus the world, such flexibility was lost.
