Am I the only one that is getting tired of the pointless debate between which is better? Macs and PCs both have their advantages and disadvantages. I prefer my mac for certain things, among which is a more user friendly file system, I've never had a virus in over 15 years of using them, and I've had excellent customer service when my motherboard nuked itself (to the point where they gave me a newer iMac for free when they couldn't fix my old one. But, they are more expensive than I think they're worth. I do all my 2D work on my Mac.
My PC is a workstation I built myself to run Maya and Mudbox and nothing else. So far, it seems to be doing alright, though in the past I've had far more problems with PC's being unreliable than I have Macs.
If you're a hardcore gamer, then get a PC. There are games for mac (Halo and Call of Duty for example,) but not nearly as many. For anything else, just get whichever interface you prefer.
Realistically, why do people insist on keeping this debate going? Without jumping into an unsupported blanket statement that one is better than the other, what are your reasons for choosing the computer you have?
