Well that really depends on a number of factors... Age, finances, likes and dislikes, whether you want to be alone or party with friends and/or family... One could suggest rounding up a bunch of folks and hitting the paintball range for some good birthday slaughter, but that only works if you have plenty of peeps to call upon, each with enough disposable income to shell out the absurd rental and paint fees. Alternately, being locked in one's house alone with their favorite sex-toys and a fresh bottle of lube is always fun, made all the better with the addition of a girlfriend / boyfriend or spouse. As I said, really depends on the person.

Get your best friends, and if they're not there, the friends you got there, get booze, lots of it, and celebrate! If you're single, bring condoms as well. If those are not the right type of friends for that, you're doing it wrong!
