New AGNPH... meh

Should I care? I remember being upset when I had my story removed but now I struggle to feel anything for the site. It's not that I don't like pokemon any more but I think the site is now better in my memories. I was there for five years and it just sucks to see how to fell apart. I guess it went downhill after Doc left, and then even more when PsychoCharmander went too. Now most of the admins are people I've barely heard about who've only been on the site for a short while, shorter than me anyway if I remember.

They've changed the site address, to something stupid, and all the sections are running different software so everything just looks disjointed. Not to mention the gallery and forums have been wiped clean so there goes all that history. Since the story section still exists I guess I'll hang around there a bit but the site has changed so much since I joined, and not in ways that I think were good.

I think it's time for me and AGNPH to, mostly, say goodbye. I doubt too many people there will miss me, even though I made some friends while I was there. I think I'm still in the top 3 most prolific writers there but my other records got lost. Oh well. Time to move on.

Look man, Just be glad Ardy got pushed out, right? Ardy was trying to murder it, Flygon is trying to revive it. The IRC server is hosted out of my house with Alynna, Come talk about your problems huh? THe IRC server is at agn.ph channel #agnph

Actually, Alynna is hosting it. I just happen to live there :x

Alynna has good history of hosting many services, Including MU*s, IRC, Game servers, etc. We have the tech and bandwidth to do it all too ^^;

:O People involved in the site commenting on little old me.

I didn't even mention Ardy but since you brought it up... I didn't like him. He was a jerk to me way back when I first joined (I've forgotten what he did but I can hold a grudge) but I don't remember him doing anything that terrible. Admittedly I've barely been active there for the last two or three years so I bet I've missed a lot. I think it's just one of those things that you get used to though. I suppose I shouldn't care but it's just one less familiar face. Every time I go there I see fewer names that I remember, all the people from when I was really active are gone now.

I think I'll just prefer to keep the AGNPH of my memories. I might go back some time if the revival goes well but at the moment it looks like a mess and the pokemon craze has passed. There still are fans of pokemon but I imagine most are furs too and will rather use the big furry sites than worry about a purely pokemon site. Most of the pokemon guys I talk to aren't active there (the big ones like SIX and Nicobay for example) and a lot of people have mentioned that the people at ANGPH have been jerks to them. I've seen that myself, people hating on stuff I've done just because it involved Nicobay.

We are trying hard to change that reputation for holding jerks. ^^;

On the other hand, You are right. Pokemon is passing for the most part. Even I moved on to Touhous. But I keep my hand in AGNPH, just a little.
