Again! Why, PayPal?!

by
PayPal is out to mess with me AGAIN! I had to open an account with another bank after they put my last account on permanent lockdown. Now they are putting every payment I receive on a 21 day hold?!
Here is the notification and the email sent to me:

Is anyone else having these issues with PayPal?
Is there a better option for sending money over the internet?
And finally, WHY are the majority of people doing business on the internet EXCLUSIVELY handling their money through a company that has screwed me over more than once for no legitimate reason?

Good news though, I spent my balance before that happened, so I don't need to worry about the hold this very moment. :3

I think its BS what paypal is doing now. They are nothing but trouble anymore it seems. People constantly having issues they constantly changing things with no warning and just right out screwing people over. My little thing I had while signing up they never said anything about needing any outside account or card for transactions. Well got on and came find out they changed it to where you can't transfer anything outside of your account without a card or bank account, but could get money transferred in. Its like wtf why would you allow money into it but not out? Even when its already in your system and is just being transferred from one account to another, but still allow you to cash it out with a check? Doesn't make a lick of flippin sense to me. Heard there was some other thing called bitcoins I think but not sure if that's the same thing. Pretty much what's going on is Paypal is like the only one and they know it so now they are using thier power for thier own gain.

Bitcoins are a separate currency. Their value is not linked directly to the US dollar (or any other currency I believe) and the value can fluctuate. I find this to be incredibly dangerous for people, especially since the value of the bitcoins can be affected by the creator(s), or they can be disvalued by government intervention (case in point: "Liberty dollars"). And there are other online payment sites; people just seem to be stuck on PayPal and I have no earthly clue why. :/

Ah okee. Yeah don't want that. And Yeah I think more options for payments are needed as despite so many people using them its more they use them as they are so well known. It's become common thought "online money goto paypal" *shrugs*  would be interested in hearing of the others out there and how good they are. Though how seen are they for the companies out there as a viable use? Like SL off top my head.

I don't believe they're in my email; that would be illegal. My bank account and ebay account are both in good standing. I don't owe anybody a dime. My rent is paid until November; my car insurance till January. My last PayPal account was subject to a "random" credit check, and having paid with cash all my life, I have zero credit. If they are assuming the nature of my purchases, they are doing so based off of the comments on them that say "Commission payment from Eiko on InkBunny", which I feel is courteous to artists with a heavy workload. :/ Still, there is no mention to the nature of the commissioned work, and even if they checked my InkBunny account, they would need an account to see anything I wouldn't show a 5 yr old.
