This is a journal that I'm posting in light of all the Gamergate stuff that has been going on sense the corruption of gaming journalism and in the industry in general has come to light. When people started asking questions and investigating the ones in the spotlight went on the offensive, instantly claiming to have been harassed and rallying their Social Justice Warrior, DDoSing and trolling up twitter and other social media places where people dared to speak out this this kind of thing was wrong.
Anyone interested can look it up (Literally takes less than 5 minutes to discover what all's going on), hopefully most of you that are gamers already know. So now the say that all gamers are racist, misogynistic, straight, white guys and all around horrible people among other things.
I'm fired up over this whole thing but keeping my head on straight, I've never been good at putting things like this into words, but like I said before hopefully most of the gamers in out fandom know that this is all going on and speak out about it.
