So, I had a pretty awesome day today aside from walking 4-5 miles in the Florida heat at around 95 degrees Fahrenheit and nothing to consume except tons of liquid hydrating or energy/diet drinks. No wonder I'm shedding weight like crazy... well, I guess it's good for me as long as I'm careful.
I did make it down to the music supply store and the art store and that is definitely GOOD NEWS for everyone! My old art teacher, Robert Morrissey, still teaches painting classes downtown to the best of my knowledge in the Winter Haven Worship Center so guess where I'll be on Thursday mornings. So what I did was pick up the watercolor side of the list instead of oils (UGH! so expensive: paints, tons of them, separate brushes, canvases, medium, thinner, rags... ) or acrylics (I have a basic set.) and I have NICE brushes, including my personal favorite, the liner brush and a fan brush.
I also got the typical 9x11 140 lb paper, a block of 15 sheets, masking fluid, a sponge, and one single Pigma pen for inking when done, ha. I am going to recoup the costs by auctioning these off. What's the best place to sell my traditional shit? Furbid?
I also got a NICE microphone, a pop filter, a penny whistle to play with while I wait for my new autoharp to arrive. I put the reserve fee on an Oscar Schmidt 21 Chord autoharp so wish me luck ... I was like, haha, "Heart Notes should be a music pony" aka this is something I have always wanted to do before I die: learn a musical instrument that makes my heart beat faster just thinking about playing slow and haunting melodies.
In other words, get thee done to do what you've always wanted to do 'for reals,' I guarantee you will feel 200% better about yourself about actually taking the initiative.
If it did magically make them not an artist...then there would be only a handful of artist around in the furry community. Besides, you know what they say. Google plex eats yummy walnuts.

not exactly true, when I was in Florida I ran into them a lot more than I care to admit. I had some friends in animal control and all together they handled about one - two episodes every three days. One I saw personally since I was the caller, dang thing was huge, one of the type they have to kill if its caught, that was the first time I ever got to taste gator, good stuff.

Biggest snake I ever saw was a timber rattler around the area of Deckers in Colorado. Had to be at least 170 cm or more, dang thing was stretched all the way across the road, two lanes. The dang thing was just massive and when we hit it like a speed bump as we came around the corner and ran into it, it buried its fangs into one of the tires and gave us a flat tire with its smashed head. You really don't forget something like that.

oh and don't forget the Saw-scaled viper, they never really get very big. In fact their small snakes with a bad bite. Oh then you have the three step, that bigger is REALLY small, never gets bigger than something like 5 inches, little white snake. if it bites you then you take three steps, and that's about all, your dead.

The largest reptile I've ever seen. has to be a 3-4 meter long komodo dragon.
went on vacation to Komodo island ( No kidding that's actually its name) and i woke up at midnight to find one sleeping on my legs. THAT'S something you don't forget in a hurry. believe me when your running at full pelt away from a mental lizard with poisonous spit. you lose a few pounds.
at least i learnt that they really like bacon sandwiches ( i fell asleep with one on my lap)
