Do Penguins Fly?

Animals are mysterious creatures.  Just when we think we've got them figured out, they surprise us with something unexpected.  Take penguins for example.

Penguins are considered to be quintessential flightless birds, although this isn't quite true.  Their wings have evolved into flippers that allow them to "fly" through water, a denser medium than air.  Still, as the following video shows, they still hold a few surprises for us.

They get a lot of practice, too. :p  The guys pretty much have to stand around for a month or two as they incubate their girls' eggs.  What chance does a clever hairless ape from the tropics stand? :p
