Okay, I've heard two major announcements; one may excite, the other may enrage.
First, the good news:
According to this article posted on ...ology, Klonoa: Door To Phantomile is making a comeback to the PlayStation as a PSOne classic playable on the PS3 and PSP!
Finally, those who don't own a Wii will have a chance to play the first game in the Klonoa series, and those who do can still get the game to see what was taken out! (The Wii remake excluded/truncated a few cutscenes and even made the game easier by giving 10 hit points instead of 6.)
Hopefully, reopening this door will also open a possibility for an HD remaster of Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil.
Now, if you don't have time to check the link, I'll brief it here: Mega Man Legends 3 has been canceled, despite the game being nearly complete and fan reaction for the game being huge!
Why did they do it? No official reason was given, but Joystiq believes it's because not too many own a 3DS. I don't. In fact, I only just got my DSi XL last year for Christmas! So, in this it'd be understandable if Capcom didn't want to a high profile game for a system that doesn't have a large install base.
In my opinion, what Capcom should've done was develop MML3 as a multi platform title, perhaps port it to the DSi and PSP so more people could play it instead of limiting consumers to a system that's still expensive for many own.
