Just an idea I had when I was indulging in one of my other hobbies, jewelery. I was perusing the stones available at a rock and gem show and I found myself drawn to some stunning patterned stones. Some of the kept popping into my mind as excellent patterns for the colourings of characters.
I am tempted to pull out a stone or two, design something with it and have a character drawn to have representations of the stone in their fur/feathers.
I might even throw one or two of these to the annual charity table at rainfurrest. Silly idea or not. That is the question at hand.
