So... after weeks of thinking about this and planning everything I finally have a plan for my future and I thought I'd share the decisions I've made regarding my artwork.
What I am hoping to achieve is: - Stop drawing adult/mature pictures in the next 6-8months - Stop taking commissions regularly in the next 8-12months - Disassociating myself from this account and the name AkiWeirdo - Continue to post personal art to Inkbunny only, under a new username
My reasons are simple but very decisive. I have recently started working my way up to a career that has been my life long dream and I can not be associated to some things. Other things I've just accepted the fact that due to my career choice I cannot allow myself enjoy them as I'd like to. And also for safety reasons.
I still have a long way to go so changes will occur slowly. I'll start by cleaning my journals in this account, and then all of my personal artwork. My favourite and newest personal works will be moved to

It's not her choice, I'm sure she's just fine with furries and stuff. It's the potential employers that she's being cautious about. Plenty of times employers have checked the internet for possible reasons not to hire someone. Aki is just being safe so that doesn't happen to her. =x Besides, she already said in this journal she'll be starting a new account to keep posting stuffs. =3

Wouldn't want anything on here to damage your reputation or something. Though I hope you keep a semi-secret account so you can stay active in some way w/o a chance of anyone tracing it back to you. *hugs* Either way, you know I support your choice to do this, you need to make money and turn this into a source of real income. Hehe, unfortunately I will have to stop drawing it, I feel like I can't take the risk of having it pop up in a background check someday. ^^; Plus between all the classes I will be taking, the side job, and the field training I just won't have the time, or the will to draw it, since pretty much all adult art I've drawn is commissioned. Hehe, and I'm not pro artist material. x3

Private hobbies and work should be strictly separated. As long as you don't do anything illegal it should not matter what you do in your free time.
Alas I know it can be a problem in some lines of work. And although many people like your naughty stuff (and I guess you like it too a bit ^^), having a enjoyable job is more important. It is such a huge chunk of your life, that becomes a torture if you have to do work you despise.
