Anthrocon rambling

Anthrocon has come and gone and here is my report:

I've been off heavy medication for days now. I'm crampy, riddled with headaches, have an odd sleeping pattern, and an eating habit of a hamster... but you wouldn't have known it from anthrocon, because i was having fun! Drawing, chatting, flirting and being a playful distraction to everyone was the order of the day, everyday, and I ignored all else when i could.

Plenty of Brony buddies were there to chat with, and I even met a few fans of my gallery. I was a little upset that my pal Chakatwindshear  wasn't there. It doesn't feel right unless I buy ungodly amounts of smut from his stash. Ah well.... maybe next time. I did find a few taur novels that seem to be a great read so far. I wonder if anyone will dare to try a taur fursuit? Could be interesting.

Speaking of suits, there were a lot of clever ones. Even an alakazam! Jeez that was awesome! It had spoons! I'm gonna post parade pics on my facebook later. I know everyone might ask why I didn't take photos of myself while there. I forgot my camera at home and all I had was a DSi. No one will touch that as long as I had my shiny pokemon in it. I wuv my shiny magikarp! He tackled me first instead of splashing.

There was a live nude model panel and I wanna say thank you very much to the men and women that let me attempt to capture them on paper. It was a real help looking at anatomy again, and i hope it shows in my future pics. I applaud their bravery and sorry if I ogled a bit. Because i kinda did.

I've been working on memes. I tried to do commissions and trades, but my muse wasn't in it. I'll go into more detail later.  Like i said, it was a total blast. Normally I arrive on an uber rainy day, and instead i get there a day early. By the time the rain hits, I'm already wandering around the halls looking for swag. I did have to buy some dayquil and pepcid, but that was the bulk of my medical needs.

I had to fight the urge to look over the shoulders of my favorite artists and drink in their brains with bendy straws, and yes I had the straws. I kinda failed at that.  I peeked and zombie marched every so often around them.

I also have some more good news, I found a nice little apartment. I'll be spending my time moving in slowly but surely. It'll take a while, and i may be on the net less, but it will be good to have a place of my own. Wish me luck XD
