On a lighter note: A blast from the past

I'm talking about not just ONE piece of my childhood, but let's look back at 2 at the same time, shall we?

I mean, I LOVED my NES when I was little. It was slightly before my time since I was born back in '89, but hey, for the few years I was alive, before I got my SNES for my 5th birthday, yeah, I had the NES and it was fun.

And hey, I know you guys STILL love your cartoons as much as I did. And by now, you guys probably know where I'm going with this. Well yeah. But we all also remember the intro musics to some of our old, beloved cartoons. Putting them on the NES only cranked up the awesome factor in my opinion. So let's check some out.

Darkwing Duck

Chip and Dale - Rescue Rangers

Tiny Toons Adventures

Duck Tales

Batman the Animated Series

Now...these are in no particular order, and just the ones I remember. I love them all. In fact, I'm probably gonna add them to my MP3 player as we speak, because these were wonderful and brought me back to a happier time in my life. (>.> Not like that's much of a stretch.) But still, yeah, love 'em.

Most of them never really became games... if you check the info on the videos themselves their noting that they have created these from the old theme songs... so it's new midi music files created by translating the theme songs into the midi programming... kind of a nice way to waste some time and bring people some happy memories. Plus midi's take up much less space so many "create a game" programs use them.

Batman and Darkwing Duck: fuck yes.  My absolute favorite TV shows when I was a kid . . . I loved the Joker and Quacker Jack XD

My sister used to have an NES and I HATED duckhunt with a vengeance >.< Super Mario Bros. was awesome though.  I'm an SNES boy though, loved their 2-D graphics and loved the fighting games that came from it.
