So i had yesterday off and I got to work today and I was informed that headphones are no longer permitted at work. Im ramping up to furious right now at 7 am and I cant fathom how stupid this is. His excuse was because of OSHA we arent allowed to wear headphones. I work in a warehouse with 4 people including myself who can drive the forklift and 2 of which use it on a bi monthly basis or earlier in the morning before everyone else gets to work. NOW no one can tell me what prompted this, there has never been a mention of anything like this before and there has been no incident that has ever occured to where this is a just reason. I liked my boss before this and now im begining to hate this company i work for they have screwed me so many times in the past. One example being they sent me an introductary email saying that after 3 months they would hire me on and give me a pay raise. Since that 3 months I have worked there for a year and they hired me a month before my first year was up, no pay raise and they hired someone else to take over my original job and they got bumped up in pay even though i worked there before them. I know this doesnt matter to any of you and Im not trying to get pity but Im just putting it out there that this is really fuckin stupid!
