FUCK YOU AT&T! FUCK YOU!!!

After battling with AT&T to get our speed back to it's promised 6Mbps they have cut it back AGAIN to 1.5!

I've had more than I can take with them, but I have no choice to get contentiously fucked by them because of their damned contract!

I can say from personal experience than the WORST ISP in the US is AT&T without contest!

I wouldn't want to see future PSVita users swearing all the time.

In your case, could lawsuit be a solution?

Generally, no. part of that thick, dense legalese service contracts a statement about speeds being for reference only, actual speeds may be less than the listed maximums.  Even the commercials toss in the 'your mileage may vary' legalese to insure that they can't be held liable if the connection isn't as fast as claimed, due to technical problems, or customer throttling.

The best idea might be to keep documents regarding the 'promised' speeds and the actual speeds, including the names of the people spoken to, and then use the long paper trail of broken promises to add teeth to a series of letters of complaint moving up the chain of command at AT&T until even the President and CEO know of your displeasure.

Or you could do the quick & easy method, assuming cable internet is available in your area; switch to cable internet, cancel the AT&T service (ALL of it, even the landline) and and let the person doing the 'exit interview' that you are 'highly dissatisfied' with their handling of your high-speed internet.  Make it clear that the poor handling of your high-speed internet is the SOLE reason you are canceling the contract.

That would cost hundreds since we got at least one year.
