Mass art flood coming in!

by
I recently learned of a tool that allows me to move my entire FA gallery over here with minimal effort, so I'm finally uploading everything here!
Starting with some really old work and moving to upload newer pieces. Hope you all enjoy what I have to share!

Cool! It seems to be working nicely. Don't forget to add keywords while making them public - they're really important here, as they're used heavily by our search and blocking features. (Users can and will suggest them, but it's best not to rely on chance.)

Will do! Thanks again for showing me this tool. It's really made it easy to move everything over here, and I look forward to posting all my future art here as well. =3

for making it! Anything to ease to burden of starting up . . . fortunately, it's only a one time deal.

You might also find our pools system useful since you have so much work, though it can wait until you've got it all public. They're like folders, only you can one thing in multiple pools. Useful for highlighting particular projects (e.g. 30 days), themes or characters!

Sounds like something that will be extremely useful! This site seems to have so many features that I'll need to learn to use, that will also just make everything super easy and organized. I really like it so far, and regret not posting here sooner. xD

Yeah - when @starling was making it, he was like "what useful tools can we provide for artists?" There have been a bunch of changes since then, too, most from user suggestions.

Of course, people don't always use features the way you think they will - sometimes for the better. You can have multiple files in one submission (either on initial upload or by editing files later), and we thought people would use those kinds of submissions for comics. Sometimes they do, but in other cases they put those in pools, and instead use the multiple files for sketches or alternate versions. Some also do sketch dumps when they don't feel they merit individual submissions. Whatever works!
