Does anyone else have this issue with IB?

Whenever I scroll down a page bits and pieces of the page hang up, mostly big lines of the page, obscuring what I should be looking at. It doesn't always happen, but it does probably 75% of the time.

I never have any issues with Inkbunny, honestly, even when browsing on my Droid X smartphone.

FA, on the other hand....

With FA I sometimes get times where I need to refresh alot before getting the next page. At least here it shows up every time, just not always clearly.

I refer to that bit of broke-ass coding on FA the "White Screen of Go Fuck Yourself".

Also, I use Google Chrome for my browsing, and everything works great for me on IB.

I've never had that happen.

What video card do you have?  That sounds like a video error with the screen not drawing right or the display not being updated correctly.   See if there's a new driver for your video card.

It's a laptop, a simple website shouldn't have to depend upon my video card though.

What browser are you using?

The new Firefox, Firefox 4 I think?

How much memory does your laptop have? The only time web pages glitch up for me, it doesn't matter the site, it's because my memory is low.

The new Firefox 4 has a feature in the options to allow for hardware acceleration via GPU, and it's quite buggy.  I've found I have to disable it, even with a decent graphics card, 'cause it causes all sorts of rendering issues, including slowdowns, mis-displays, etc.  You might give that a shot, and be sure to shut down Firefox completely in order for it to take effect.  Let me know if that helps, and if not, I'll see if I can get more details from you and track this problem down.  :-)

Seems to be working for me now that I turned that off :D Thank ya!

Edit: Never mind, broken again :c

Also, do you have private browsing sessions enabled?  If so, it's defaulting back to whatever your "normal" settings are every time you reopen it.

... and this ONLY happens on IB?

Yep, at least so far. Very sporadic.

That's odd.
From what you describe I'd say t was a video card overheating issue, but as it only happens on this site, it can't really be that.
I'm at a loss what to tell you other than I've never experienced what you're describing.

Me too.. actually it does it on IB and FA, you will open an image, and loads...and then poof, gone.. now if you click on the image to open the basic file in a browser window, it works fine... i figured it was just because im running a super old computer with not nearly enough ram for what i subject the poor bastard to...

Well it's not that the image vanishes, entire lines of the page from one side to the other hang up and jumble the page up. When I scroll around some more it usually changes what's in the bits that float over the others. It's hard to explain and no one seems to be getting it, it's getting so frustrating >..<

yeah, i get that one too......... how to fix it? i dont know... it does seem to help to do a hard refresh (ctrl shift r) which refreshes the image in your cache, not just the page

omg... use a nother browser or change your firewall *moew*

I don't think it has to do with my firewall, the lines that remain kind of hover over the rest of the page, it gets all jumbled up. That and I shouldn't have to switch from a mainstream browser to compatible :P
