Hello dear followers, this is Siberwar talking from a cybercafe again.

As some of you my know, my computer got some problems and I just found out that the mb is definately dead, that mean I will need to buy a new one anyway.

I’ve research for computers that could serve and I’ve found two models that could be good for me.

the cheapest one, that is like my old computer: dua core, model p230 intel, 4gb memo, hd 500 cost 929,00 reais (almost 500 dollars). Or a better one : core3 3ªgeneration, 6 memory, hd500 cost 1399,00 reais (about 700 dollars).

Unfortunatelly, I don’t have the money for get them, I’ll need to find a way. I’ll make a new post if I got any news about it. I have a donation button in my blog.

Those are pretty expensive, I never pay more than $300 for a desktop and $500 for a laptop, and they're always powerful. You've gotta look hard at sales and the possibility of building one yourself, but Brazil might have a less booming market for computers.

in my country all stuff are expensive because it has a lot of taxes that makes the final prices very high. some stuff are taxed at 50%~80% in the final price.

Have you tried disconnecting everything and reconnecting it? That works sometimes, for no clear reason. It happened to me just the other day.

My motherboard went dead. I double checked all the connections and they were secure. But it still wouldn't start up. So I disconnected everything to troubleshoot. Then later I reconnected everything just for the hell of it, and it suddenly started working again. Keep in mind, all the connections were already in the right place for it to work before it suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason. I can only assume some form of technological Voodoo is to blame.

I tried everything I could myself, even some advices I got from the internet, but nothing really worked, Thank you for your advices anyway.
