Pokemon... I am dissappointed...

So there is this game called Pokemon Rumble U (Stop laughing at the bad name and the implications, Nintendo names things as well as Mikey does from Nick's version of ninja turtles), and it's one of those figure + game combos, like Skylanders and Disney Infinity, cept afford able at 17$ for the game and 4$ for each of the figures (as opposed to 100$ for the game and 15$ a figure)

Me, loving figures, games and pokemon. Though this was the best thing ever, even if the game is mediocre and simple, it was still fun enough to entertain me, and would be perfect for me spend my short breaks away from drawing comics. Also I am in need to little figures to fill my desk that I do not have to pay a fortune and a half for. (not gonna lie, some of those skylanders figures are friggen cute too, though I never intend to ever pick up that game so I always have to stop myself from buying the figures)

So after saving up for an investing in a Wii U (the price drop, limited edition Zelda re-colour made it hard to resist, and I wanted to get one anyway in anticipation for Sonic Lost Worlds and the next installment of smash brothers) I popped into the e-store for the system to pick up Pokemon Rumble U, after all, I'm super excited for X and Y coming out soon, and figured this would help with my pokemon fix until those games came out. Now that I had the game, all I needed where the awesome little origami / pixel looking figures. I mean, you don't NEED them for the game, but they certainly let you do more with the game (not to mention they are cute, though some will argue that)

Anyway, when I went out I kept in mind to keep an eye out for them, and I noticed that I could not spot the figures anywhere when I was out doing the shopping thing today. When I asked about the figures at EBgames they did not know what I was talking about and couldn't find anything about them on their systems. When I got home I looked it up online only to find that though the game was released to Canada the little figures that accompany it were NOT released to Canada, and are completely unavailable with no intent on them ever being obtainable here (unless you go on ebay and buy them at inflated prices)

I am so disappointed... and unexpectedly upset over this ;_;

I know the feeling. I've done Skylanders from the initial release.

If I find these things locally, I would be glad to help you out for cost + shipping. Personally I have not seen them yet. MP me if your interested in a deal like this, one avid gamer to another.

That would be cool if you did that, the figure + game combos are pretty neat, and I'm feeling ripped off that I can't use the full game here cause I can't even get one figure x.x it's true I can still play the game, but the character leveling and customization are exclusive to the figures, I can't do anything with the in game pokemon x.x

It's hard as heck to find them around here as well. Luckily,  one gamestop had them, but they haven't gotten any since and the only other one in my area hasn't had any at all when I stop in. People keep buying them to sell on eBay for profits.

That's super frustrating too ><

Definitely, especially since the one figurine I want I didn't get.

It is disapointing indeed but pokemon X and Y are released soon and you can play your game without the figurine from what you saying.

You can play the game without one, but it's better with one. As the pokemon in game you can't level up or teach new moves or talents, but the figures you can x.x So it's like half the game is locked for me ><

And from what I read even in USA the figurine are in extremely limited edition.  The Pokemon Company International is a bunch of assholes that have good games.

This is unbelievably unfortunate, looks like I'll have to go to ebay to find 'em, but they cost around 20$ a figure at the least if you include the shipping to Canada, and the prices just get higher from there x.x That's a pretty tall investment for something that's in store price is 3.99.

Even if I did give it and get one off ebay (which I don't think I will, as it's rather unaffordable) this is money the pokemon company could have been getting from me, but instead a dirty profiteer is gonna be getting his hands on it.

Also, I got that link to ask to bring the figurines in Canada: http://www.change.org/en-CA/petitions/nintendo-bring-p... You lose little to try that.

I know how you feel :/
I'm also a figure collector, could hardly stop myself from buying a cute phoenix from skylanders (I don't even own the game!).
But I couldn't find these pokemon figures anywhere, seems like they are only delivered to bigger stores in bigger cities, or already sold out when I enter the store.
It's not that I don't like the games or the extra figures, but they are pricey and kinda flee from me ._.
