For those who use craigslist to buy video games. Don'tcha just love how people post ads on there trying to sell games for just the disc at close to the retail price?  It just drives me nuts how there are people who do that. How do you have the game but not the case and//or manual?? I'd sooner use the $45 or $50 they are charging for just the disc and go into a store and buy the game at full price and get everything its supposed to come with.

it's called console care, shipp.  many people just don't have this a lot when it comes to their games, and as a result, stuff gets missing.  also note that 3 out of four gamers buy games used and used games are just the disc and box.  most gamers don't wanna shell out that $60 green for games

Nods I for one fall under both categories I care for my consoles games cords etc I also don't like shelling out $60 for games unless they will last me a long time and impress me enough.  I prefer used games and do my best to get them as cheaply as possible be it via ebay, Craigslist, or Thrift Stores, Garage Sales Etc. But most of all I want them to have everything in it. I recently got a game off ebay called Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City for the PS3 for $1.04  Complete so yea I am quite cheap when it comes to games unless I absolutely want it bad enough

that's way too frugal for my tastes, though some will call you a penny-pinching bastard.

before the WiiU fucked up their pricing advantage, I only told myself that I would buy used games only if they are hard to find... but now, I buy used games for the big consoles.  I don't have a WiiU yet (plan to get one), but so far, I only plan on shelling out $60 for two games:  Smash Bros. and Mariokart.  and the rest will be downloads.  that's why I buy only the stuff I want to play, especially after I bought a game for everyone to play cause people bitched about whooping that ass in the stuff I have... I ended up whooping that ass in the game for everyone

games that people barely play will have these things, or they belonged to that 1 of the four who knows about console care.  I got SFxT used and that didn't have the manual, it was just disc and box from Gamestop

i, myself practice Console care (Albeit in a somewhat strange way), all of my games are always in my secure cd-dvd Binder (combination lock) and i keep the cases in my disc rack (if I have the case, i buy the cheap ones sometimes or my brothers ruin the cases) i spend (on average) $40 a month on games

I applaude you for the console care.  my Nintendo still works, as do some of the games.  the point is, more times when you go places to buy used games, it's just the disc, and sometimes the box... now if someone took good care of it, the manual is there with the game, but it's not always the case... though it should.  remember, buyer beware and all that jazz

Either the people are not serious to sell the game or they are waiting for that sucker who is willing to pay the high price.

Add to that the ones with used codes (if they have one)
