The little in things in life that make you happy

I think Inkbunny could use an uplifting journal for a change ^^

So please comment with examples of things that give you that wonderful shiver of pleasure when they happen (not necessarily sexual). I will list mine as well.

- Getting into a tub with hot water after a hard day (with foam ^^)
- Afterwards putting on a fluffy bathrobe to keep you warm and then use the blowdryer to heat-inflate said bathrobe for even more snuggly warmth.
- The smell of fresh brewed coffee.
- The cool, humid air on a hot summer day when it started raining
- Dense Fog. Seriously, I love fog. It's like a white blanket of silence wrapped around everything. I hope see some when visiting England.
- Cookies/Cake with cold milk
- Comments and faves I get on my art ;3
- Discarding my clothes when I get home (yay nudity)

Uplifting is good. Here is a brief list for me:

-Rain. I seriously love the rain. It helps me sleep better, makes me feel good (even when I'm down) and I just like being out in it.
-A good glass of scotch/whiskey.
-Relaxing in a hot bath and listening to some Portishead.
-Cuddling.
-That feeling when everything in a drawing comes together better than you could have hoped.
-A deep, full body massage.

Fog. Seriously, I love fog, it almost never happens here, but I wish it did all the time.

Also I'm the exact same way when I get home lol clothes be damned when I walk through the door, but the biggest relief when I get home and gives me much more satisfaction is just getting my boots off.

Oh, also towels right out of the dryer, as well as boxers.

-A bonfire, with friends, guitars and whiskey
-That ozone smell after a lightning storm
-A one inch group at thirty feet with a good pistol
-The moment when you find perfect balance in wind, sail and keel
-The dry paper smell of an old library or used bookstore

-a bottle of jack, a hot dog and videogames
- loging in every day and seeing my comments and things in inkbunny.
-coming home and getting glomped by a cute doggy that's been waiting for me all day.
-friends, jokes and pizza(i'm weird)
-coming home and flopping on the couch all naked with some faggy sassy music on the stereo x3
-finding a little bit of money in my pockets :D
-that delicious feeling of a hot shower hitting you in the right spots.
-frydays nuff said
-the feeling i get when i hear cirque du soleil in my ipod

-sharing the bed, not necessarily sexually with someone i love, pushing my head to his chest and feeling safe in his arms, knowing that no matter what happens tomorrow, we have each other, in the case the sexual act comes, not rushing it in 20 minutes but enjoying each other's warmth and love. and being there after, hearing how our hearts slowdown. *blushes and coughs* int he hypothetical case i had a guy to do that of course :V

There are so many ossum things that make me shiver! so aside from the obvious sexual ones, I would say...

- the first deafening sounds of heavy rain on my tin roof!
- when you hear an amazing song on the radio you haven't heard for years driving to work!
- when someone does something nice/totally unexpected for me
- ordering something online and getting that surprise when you forget about it and it finally turns up :3
- the first beer after mowing the yard in summer! ( 40c and 90% humidity :P  )
- that amazing feeling when you first wake up on sat morning and realise... NO WORK! <3  then roll over and sleep for another 4 hours!

^^  there are prolly more I will think of later but these ones are sticking out tonight for some reason

Seeing a certain someone on Skype.

Almost everything on Sen's list applies to me, too--personal nudity being the most notable exception. :)

Other little things that make me happy:
- Distant thunder
- Women in Spandex doing squats in my exercise class
- Snuggling with my sweetie and one or more of our cats
- Someone taking the time to leave a comment about one of my stories
- The perfect balance between sweet and bitter that is a good Vietnamese iced coffee
- The mere existence of penguins
- Writing good porn
- The smell of wood smoke
