What do you want me to draw?

Hey, I thought it was time for a little survey. I've been thinking of what to do next after finishing all the commissions. That will still take a while and who knows what I'll be up to then. Nevertheless I'm interested in your opinion now. :) My questions are

What do you want me to draw more (often)?
What do you want me to draw less?
What do you like about my art?
What do you dislike about my art?
What do you watch me for?
Would you like to see rough sketches here on IB?
Do you read the artist's comments? / Are you interested in thoughts on a picture?

You don't have to answer all these questions. They're just suggestions.

What do you want me to draw more (often)?
There's a lot of canines and felines in your gallery and 1 bear, maybe try some really different animals you've never done before? ^^ Or maybe some feline/canine species you've never tried before? :3 I'd love to see an Okapi or Bongo in your style!

What do you want me to draw less?
Nothing your art is all lovely <3

What do you like about my art?
Your style is really sweet. I love how you draw ears and eyes, and I like your anatomy ^^

What do you dislike about my art?
Nothing!

What do you watch me for?
Your style really caught my eye. Is your favourite artist TaniDaReal by any chance? :p Some overlapping interests in style there I think ^^ Like Balto/Lion King type style.

I love seeing works in progress and sketches, so yes :3

Sometimes yes sometimes I can't be bothered lol. Depends on my mood and the picture. I usually at least skim descriptions.

Thanks for your comment! Your guess was right, Tani is one of my favourite artists. TLK and Balto are my favourite movies! ^^

What do you want me to draw more (often)?

> I really enjoy your Lion King fanart a whole lot. You have such talent, and you can draw whatever you please, and you should. But many artists have - over time, left their Lion King fan-artsy days behind, calling it a fad, or a phase. Or saying TLK stuff was generic and boring. I hope you're not one of them because I love this stuff way too much. Now that you are on Inkbunny, I'd also love to be able to commission you at some point, but that'd be about my character Meowz, who is a cub in the Lion King universe, involved in adult art regardless. I don't see myself as a "lesser" fan, but other fans would point and scream that I dare do this. Hey, I grew up with that movie - my needs change, I always loved this stuff but I find the cubs too cute. It's not about age, it's about cute. I hope you are one of the few who may understand the difference. ;)

What do you want me to draw less?

> Nothing. You do whatever you think is right. I cannot stand the blood and gore but who am I to say you should draw less of that? If you want to, you can do anything you like.

What do you like about my art?

> The bandwidth of facial expressions, the accuracy and consistency of the style, even within fanart. I can pick out yours among all the hundreds of others, without fail. Every time.

> What do you dislike about my art?

I may not be a big fan of, like I mentioned, this kink or that kink, but -other- people are. :) I still look at them anyway. They're kinda shocking in the sense that I am surprised, again and again, that you drew this. But if you were to draw Meowz, that would have the same impression with many other people all the same. So in that sense, there IS nothing there to dislike. I'm just neutral there.

What do you watch me for?

> The art for now, but if you write interesting journals, I'll be sure to pick'em up, too!

> Yes! Absolutely! Maybe in scraps or as a benefit of being in the friends list, who knows.

> Not on every drawing, but on every one that I like. Beyond that, I also post a lot of comments. Some at TL/DR, but ...

I keep coming back to your art at different times through different ways, so I finally 'watched' you :) You took the time to ask these questions, so I'll throw my answers in:

What do you want me to draw more (often)?
I do love feral and canine. For dirty pics M/F would do me grand. Thoughtful pieces like 'Onset of Winter' have so many layers to appreciate, and I'm an absolute sucker for the Northern Lights.

What do you want me to draw less?
I could only put my non-preferences in here and that's not relevant to what you should draw.

What do you like about my art?
The sheer quality! Fantastic facial expressions can really pull a viewer in and you have that nailed. The backgrounds/environments too. 'Sydämeni On Sinun' has good examples; Northern Lights (<3), the night sky and the mist/cloud giving impression of elevation.

What do you dislike about my art?
Had a good long look and a think, and well, there's isn't anything specific I don't like with your styles or such. But then I'm not artistically learned, so I can't help there.

What do you watch me for?
The level of care you put into your pictures is so blindingly obvious. They are an absolute pleasure to see, and I'd like to not miss them :)

Would you like to see rough sketches here on IB?
OH YES. I adore rough sketches. Many don't, and I think it's a tragic waste of a scraps folder. I love to see the process of art and sketches have that something that a complete finished piece can sometimes miss. Often they show more of an artists personality in, especially the funny little doodles.

Context is wonderful :) It's fun to see what other thoughts I can add to an image beside my own
