A Sincere Thank You: You made his night!

I wanted to take a moment and update you all on how your efforts to send my family and my son to a PWR Event last night went. You guys made his night.
Many thanks are in order to you all, who purchased from me and also donated to help get us to Girard PA and the PWR War Games Event. In all, we made over $100 and were not only able to upgrade our tickets to front row, pay for the gas for an 3 hour round rip, but had a little extra to get some Independent Pro Wrestling swag as well!
For those who don't know, my step son is afflicted with Asperger's Syndrome. It is very difficult to get him interested in positive activities rather than negative ones, though his mother and I have been encouraged by his sudden devotion to Pro Wrestling within the last year. It means so very much to us both that you all helped get us there and that we were able to, even for a few ours, function as a normal family! He had a total blast and even cheered for a few wrestlers rather than tossing "boos" at them all night! XD He even demanded we get him a pair of Frankie Feathers Hipster Glasses, rather than spend all his money on food and that small fact just blew us away. (Part of his AS is that he's food obsessed. He will eat until he vomits then will eat more.) It was a major victory to see that he was more focused on the matches than feeding his disorder.
Again, we can not thank you all enough for pulling together and getting us there last second like you did. I am blessed to have such good friends online!

I am glad that he enjoyed it. My brother also has Asperger's and when we were younger, we would watch WWE and we would try and guess who would win. It was and still is, his favorite thing to watch.

Were really hoping that he sticks with it, maybe even to Collegiate wrestling in high school. We can hope that with time, he'll be able to focus on more positive activities and actually stay with them.
