Please sir, may I have another?

That's right, my fellow furs, its time for another pervy poll position (yes these are kinda at random time intervals, but I like to be spontaneous ;) ). This time, I have a two-in-one for you!

Okay, first order of business: What do y'all think my Fursona should be? I've been here on IB for a good chunk of time and figured I should get a body to go with my name. I like to think I'm a bit of a sly guy, so I was mulling over being a fox w/ red and black coloring, but I have no idea where to go from there. Any ideas are welcome, please lay it on me (that's what she said).

Secondly, and more of a question than the last, is what do you, as my readers, think of potentially adding Jack's parents as sexually active furs in my stories. They have to find out some time what's really going on with Jack and Melanie. What's your take on the issue? If you don't want to see them get down and dirty, then what other solutions would you like to see? One user suggested that they find out, but end up okay with it and Melanie becomes Jack's tutor because she's in college. This might work, but I just don't see Jack, as a ten year old, needing a personal tutor, maybe that's just me. *shrugs*

Oh, P.S. - I know I'm a little late on the uptake here, but the little doo-dad on the bottom of this create-a-journal page has reminded me: Friend option. Hmm... toughie(for both questions). Well, your fursona should be something that you personally would like to see, we can't choose it for you. Just sketch it out first and see what happens.
As for Jack's parents, I think you should add them, but keep it between themselves, and maybe Melanie. :)

How many active characters do you really need or want in your story world is the real question? You have 3 really nice developed characters now, do you need to add 2 more? Don't you love when people answer a question with a question?? =D Ok next question is, how does your worlds society see things like incest, child molestation, and sexually active kids? If its ok for kids to be sexually active then the parents won't "wig out" to bad, but if its not acceptable then will they think Melanie is molesting and raping Jack? If incest is acceptable then adding the parents into the mix could get interesting but if its taboo then you might spend too much time on "keeping secrets". You kinda did touch on the incest thing already when Melanie had to rationalize what she was doing with Liz as not incest cause Liz was adopted. And the fact that Jack feels he has to lie to his parents about where he is always running off to says the underage sex thing might be taboo also. Personaly I'm not sure if I would be interested in reading about Jack's parents sexual exploits.

I can't believe you used my example in your journal, thats so cool. I didn't think about Jack being too young for needing a tutor. I was thinking more on the line of, if he's sexually active at 10 and Liz at 12 then maybe age is a little different in your world and he might be in a higher grade class then he would be on earth. well you can always think of another demand they make of Melanie but I like my original reaction from the parents. But this falls under the incest and underage sex not acceptable rule stated above. For those that don't want to go hunt down my other journal comment I said that mom freaks out and wants to call the cops on Melanie but dad secretly want to high five his son for bagging 2 babes and calms mom down and goes and talks to Melanie to set rules and make her his tutor in both sex ed and other studies.

As far as your fursona goes thats really a persona desision really, you have to "feel" what you want to be. People can say "be a cat, no a dog, maybe a horse, or ..." but you got to ask yourself what do YOU feel you are. Different animals have different stereotypical abilities and characteristics, you don't ask what you in RL are but what you want to be in fantasy life. I see my fursona not as what I am but what I would want to be if anything were possible and I could choose to be "remade". You don't even have to choose a real animal, you can make up a creature or make a crossbreed hybrid or even a totally alien fursona, again its got to be what yu feel you are not what others think you should be. Just my 2 cents.

I've always known what my fursona is, he's a humanoid cat named Tiberious who usually has a jaguar build and fur pattern but has the ability to "become" any type of cat depending on need such as a cheetah for speed, tiger for strength, or a panther for stealth. I just need to commision someone to make me an avatar one of these days.

Ok wow talk about having diarrhea of the mouth, or in this case, of the keyboard. Well this is just my opinions hope it helped you and if not just ignore it.

Haha, diarrhea of the mouth, that made me laugh :D. I really appreciate the in-depth response and I thank you sir. You've definetly presented some interesting arguements for both sides of the issue of Jack's parents and I think I know what I'm going to do.

Your advice will be helpful in the fursona department as well

Glad I could be of help and can't wait to read the next Jack and Liz camping story and find out what happens with mom and dad. NOW GET TO TYPING. =P

Also can't wait to see what fursona you pick, remember it's got to be what YOU want to be not what others think you should be.

Well for your second question I say yes Jacks parents should find out and become sexually active characters but not with Jack, and I would like to read a story of jacks parents getting together.

As for your fursona as pheonix said its up to you to decide, but if you really want to know I would just go Lion due to Jack. (aren't I original)

Thanks for the advice, I think I've got the parent-thing worked out in the old noggin, but I'll have to keep everyone waiting until I can make my lazy ass type it up 8^)
