Not really, the world itself never really changed, China is still over populated and lives off of sweat shop labor, Africa is still run by corrupt government that will not let their people survive, England still thinks of us as trashy red neck  uncultured swine, and well the rest of the world doesn't really care that we got hit in an attack 12 years ago, in fact most of it chooses to ignore it, yes it was devistating for us US citizens for something like this to happen, but lets be honest here, it feels as if we got over the shock and no one really cares unless it is 9/11, by that I mean, Americans will laugh and joke about thier country being shit, or say "I'm moving to country 'X'" when something doesnt go their way, then on Patriots Day (what 9/11 was aptly named) they go all gungho "Never Forget" all day bringing up sad and painful memories (most people probably don't even remember where they were when it happened) and after today from 9/12/2013-9/10/2014 the Americans will just go back to hating their homeland and making bad jokes about it, constantly barating it until they feel obligated to be patriotic.

Not to be a downer, but most people don't even take consideration what today is or how it really affected us or why we even say 'Never Forget', so please don't take this the wrong way, but the world didn't change, and honestly neither did we, and if we did, t wasn't for long, considering we can't go one week with out hearing something bad about our own country by our own  people, or about how one has wronged another in a very bad way.

Oh yeah, I was just a simple minded fourth grader sitting in class enjoying the after glow of recess, when outlr teacher came in to thw class room in tears tellig us about how her sister was on "that" plabe, and then all the T.V's in school came on and it was broadcasting the event, I didn't understand at the time what was happening or why we were released early; then when I got home all that was on was this broadcast of this tragedy that I wasn't allowed to watch. So I spent the day in the library readong comics, oblivious to this fact, until a year later. That's where I was when it happened, how about you?
